FAQ

Common
questions.

Have more questions? Contact our team or call (425) 821-7289.

How do I know if my elevator needs modernization? +

Key indicators: equipment older than 20-25 years, increasing repair frequency and costs, discontinued parts, code compliance gaps, slow or rough operation, and poor energy efficiency. We can assess your specific situation and provide honest recommendations.

What does non-proprietary equipment mean for me? +

It means any qualified elevator company can service your elevator after modernization. You're never locked into us, or any single vendor, for future service, parts, or repairs. Your building maintains control.

Can you modernize while our building is occupied? +

Yes, and we specialize in it. For buildings with multiple elevators, we modernize one unit at a time. Critical phases are scheduled nights and weekends. We've delivered $20M+ in projects this way without disrupting building operations.

What are the modernization options? +

Options range from full modernization (complete replacement of all major systems) to targeted upgrades: controller-only replacement, door operator replacement, cab renovation, or selective component upgrades. We scope to your budget and priorities.

What certifications and inspections are required? +

Modernization requires AHJ inspection and sign-off. We handle all permitting, coordinate with inspectors, and deliver a complete closeout package including as-built drawings, equipment manuals, and warranty documentation.
